Charles has always had a creative side lurking within him. In college, he completed degrees in architecture and physics, along with numerous art classes covering several different media. His interest and experience in woodworking started when Charles helped out at a local cabinet shop in the early 90's. During this time he began buying his own tools and expanded his ability to work at home. He purchased his 10” cabinet saw in the summer of 1998, registered a business name with the county, and the serious woodwork ensued. Designing and building furniture along with the wooden kayak work has been a gratifying and rewarding experience for Charles from the beginning.
